Rome, 16 Jan (LaPresse) – ‘The Ministry of Culture has financed some 425 interventions totalling 374 million euros to deal with the effects of earthquakes on the cultural heritage’. This was said by the Minister of Culture, Alessandro Giuli, during his speech at the conference ‘Cultural heritage and natural disasters: ideas for protection’ promoted by the Civil Protection Department and Casa Italia and devoted to the protection, safeguard and management of the national cultural heritage in emergency situations connected with calamitous events, with the participation of Nello Musumeci, Minister for Civil Protection and Sea Policies, Fabio Ciciliano, head of the Civil Protection Department, and Luigi Ferrara, head of the Casa Italia Department.
