Milan, 30 Dec (LaPresse) – According to forecasts, in the next 12 months the price of energy will increase by almost 30% with a significant impact on the bills of those who have an indexed price offer. These are Facile.it's estimates for a typical family in the free market. According to the estimate the price increase will be 272 euro between electricity and gas, with an overall expenditure that will reach 2,841 euro, compared to the current 2,569 euro (+11%).The analysis – continues the note by Facile.it – was carried out by taking into consideration the trend of the PSV and PUN indices over the last 12 months (December 2023 – November 2024) and the forecasts elaborated by the European Energy Exchange (EEX) for the following 12 months, with consumption and other economic conditions weighing on the bill being equal. Specifically, the PUN, the indicator of the wholesale price of electricity, according to the forecasts will increase by 30% from an average value of 0.11 euro/kWh to 0.14 euro/kWh, while the PSV, the reference point for determining the wholesale price of natural gas in Italy, will rise by 28%, from 0.38 euro/smc to 0.48 euro/smc.
