Milan, 31 Mar. (LaPresse) – The prices of food, household goods and personal care products (which make up the so-called ‘shopping basket’) were 2.1% higher in March than in the same month of the previous year, while the trend growth of products with a high frequency of purchase remained steady at +1.9%. This was communicated by Istat in its estimates on price trends for March 2025. For Istat, this is a slight increase in price growth compared to the trend, compared to +2.0% in February 2025.
