Tariffs: IMF Cuts Italy's GDP Forecast, +0.4% in 2025 and +0.8% in 2026

Milan, April 22 (LaPresse) – The International Monetary Fund has downgraded its growth forecasts for Italy due to the effects of tariffs imposed on imports by the U.S. administration. In its new World Economic Outlook, Rome is projected to have economic growth of 0.4% in 2025 and 0.8% in 2026. These figures represent downward revisions of 0.3% and 0.1% respectively compared to last January's forecasts.
