Milan, May 7 (LaPresse) – Fuel prices are dropping again across the national distribution network after a brief stabilization. The national average for self-service gasoline is now close to falling below €1.70 per liter, while the average price for self-serve diesel has already been under €1.60 per liter for several days. As for international refined product quotations, gasoline prices notably rose yesterday. According to Quotidiano Energia’s analysis of data from fuel stations submitted to the Mimit Price Observatory and updated as of 8 a.m. on May 6, the national average price for self-serve gasoline is €1.701/liter (down from €1.703 on May 5), with branded stations ranging between €1.689 and €1.713/liter (unbranded at €1.698). The average self-serve diesel price is €1.594/liter (down from €1.597), with brand ranges between €1.574 and €1.615/liter (unbranded at €1.588). For full-service, the average gasoline price is €1.845/liter (down from €1.850), with branded stations offering prices between €1.778 and €1.920/liter (unbranded at €1.757). The average for full-service diesel is €1.739/liter (compared to €1.744), with branded outlets offering between €1.667 and €1.822/liter (unbranded at €1.647). Average LPG prices range from €0.737 to €0.752/liter (unbranded at €0.722), while methane for vehicles ranges from €1.455 to €1.539/kg (unbranded at €1.456).
