Rome, May 13 (LaPresse) – China has lifted a month-long ban that had prevented airlines from taking delivery of aircraft from Boeing Co., following a breakthrough in trade negotiations with the United States that temporarily reduced tariffs on both sides.
The news was reported by Bloomberg, citing informed sources. According to these sources, who spoke on condition of anonymity, officials in Beijing began informing domestic airlines and government agencies this week that deliveries of U.S.-made aircraft may resume.
The resumption of deliveries to China will provide an immediate boost to Boeing.
