Banks, Savona: ‘52 complaints or requests for clarification on risk in 2024’

Milan, 20 June (LaPresse) – "Since the second half of 2024, a significant part of the banking and financial system has taken important initiatives, launching six public takeover bids and/or exchange offers which, beyond the usual work required to implement the regulations in force, have generated 52 complaints or requests for clarification from the parties involved to resolve disputes arising from the absence of prior agreements between the parties, a condition that is not necessary in the spirit of competitiveness typical of a competitive market economy." This was stated by Consob Chairman Paolo Savona in his seventh and final address to the financial market on the report on activities carried out in 2024.
