Milan, July 17 (LaPresse) – "Based on the trends recorded by the various factors influencing consumer prices, a 0.2% monthly increase in the index is estimated for July, with a 1.4% growth year-on-year, slowing down by three-tenths of a point compared to June. The expected slowdown for the current month, beyond the positive effects it could have on household sentiment, fits into the ongoing process of inflation normalization/stabilization that has been underway for several months, largely due to the comparison with July of last year when there were disruptions in some energy sectors." This is the estimate by Confcommercio in the July report.
