Milan, July 28 (LaPresse) – "For us, today, anything above zero is a problem. A 15% tariff impact for Italian businesses means €22.26 billion in potential lost sales to the U.S.," said Emanuele Orsini, president of Confindustria, on the 8 p.m. edition of Tg1 regarding the trade deal on tariffs reached between the U.S. and the EU. "We’re underestimating one thing," he added, "it’s not just the impact of tariffs, but also the euro/dollar devaluation, which for us today means an additional 13% increase, while other EU countries are seeing only 2%—a gap that’s hard to recover."
