Milan, 6 August (LaPresse) – "It will be the longest single-span bridge in the world. Such infrastructure is a catalyst for development." These were the words of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister Matteo Salvini during the CIPESS meeting on the Strait Bridge. The MIT announced this, emphasising that Salvini also thanked previous ministers who believed in the connection between Calabria and Sicily, citing Pietro Lunardi. The CIPESS, the MIT emphasises, is still ongoing and includes, among others, Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni.
