Rome, August 12 (LaPresse) – "Today we finally know that there is Team Italy, united for the first time in the history of this issue that has lasted over 15 years. An agreement among all institutional players—the national government, the Region, local authorities—playing a crucial role for the national steel industry and thus for our country’s industry," said Minister for Enterprises and Made in Italy Adolfo Urso, at the end of the table at Mimit on ex Ilva.
The minister emphasized that "responsibility, reason, and common interest have prevailed. This is a breakthrough that can encourage investors to come forward with their industrial plans for the relaunch of steelmaking and green conversion. Italy will become the first country able to provide green steel across Europe."
