Milan, 27 September (LaPresse) – The special commissioners of Acciaierie d'Italia in special administration (AS), Giovanni Fiori, Giancarlo Quaranta, Davide Tabarelli, and of Ilva in special administration (AS), Alessandro Danovi, Francesco di Ciommo and Daniela Savi, announce that, by the deadline set at midnight on Friday 26 September 2025, ten offers had been received for the acquisition of the former Ilva plants. Among the offers received, two are for all the business complexes: Bedrock Industries and the Flacks Group + Steel Business Europe consortium. Eight bids are for individual assets: Renexia (Toto Group), Industrie Metalli Cardinale (IMC), Marcegaglia, Marcegaglia + Sideralba consortium, CAR Srl, Marcegaglia + Profilmec + Eusider consortium, Eusider and Trans Isole. In addition to these, there is a further bid, submitted by a political entity, which does not meet the criteria of the tender. Although the deadline is not considered binding, any proposals received after this date will only be evaluated if they present particularly favourable conditions for the ongoing procedure. The special commissioners reserve a reasonable period of time to carefully examine all proposals received, with particular regard to employment aspects, decarbonisation and the extent of investments, in order to ensure the sustainable development of the plants and the maximum protection of the workers involved.
