Rome, 14 October (LaPresse) – Maria Grazia Chiuri is the new creative director at Fendi. The announcement was made by the fashion house itself on its social media channels. For the Roman designer, who left Dior in May after nine years, this is a homecoming: she began her career at Fendi in 1989, participating in the creation of the famous Baguette bag and hiring Pierpaolo Piccioli, who would go on to become another big name in fashion. At the end of September, the Roman fashion house announced the change in role of Silvia Venturini Fendi, who left her position as creative director to become honorary president.
