Rome, Dec. 15 (LaPresse) – Transport Minister Matteo Salvini is determined to build the Strait Bridge and will do everything possible to speed up the start of works. The government has guaranteed financial coverage for the project: due to the intervention of the Court of Auditors, further required assessments are under way; for this reason, the funds have been reallocated because construction sites will be opened in the coming months rather than by the end of the year as hoped." This was stated in a note from the Transport Ministry.
