Rome, 19 December (LaPresse) – The Senate Budget Committee has approved an amendment to the budget that aims to establish that the Bank of Italy's gold reserves belong to the people. This was announced by Lega rapporteur Claudio Borghi. The amendment reformulates the text proposed by FdI with group leader Lucio Malan. In the version reformulated by the government, a reference to the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union has been included.
