Rome, 11 January (LaPresse) – Petrol prices continue to fall, partly due to the reorganisation of excise duties. According to data from the Mimit price observatory, self-service petrol on motorways is priced at €1.727, compared to €1.743 last week. The price of diesel remains stable at €1.764 for self-service on the motorway network, compared to €1.767 per litre on 5 January. As for the region-by-region data on the road network, in Campania, petrol and diesel prices are aligned at €1.642 (where on 5 January diesel was €1.644 per litre compared to €1.657 for petrol). In Lazio, prices are €1.655 for diesel and €1.619 for petrol, while in Lombardy, diesel is €1.651 and petrol is €1.616.
