Stock market: Milan closes lower; FTSE MIB down 0.71%

Rome, 26 March (LaPresse) – The Milan Stock Exchange ended another volatile trading day in the red. At the close, the FTSE MIB was down 0.71% at 43,701.84 points, having slightly limited its losses compared with the fall of over 1% recorded midway through the session. On the main index, Saipem rose (+5.8%), followed by Recordati, which closed up 4.75% on expectations of a takeover bid by CVC. Prysmian fell by 2.58%; banks weighed on the market, with Unicredit down 2%.
