Rome, 14 May (LaPresse) – The government, through the Minister for Relations with Parliament, Luca Ciriani, has called for a vote of confidence in the Senate on the Fiscal Decree, specifically on the text containing the amendments approved by the Finance Committee. The vote of confidence will take place today, after which the text will be sent to the Chamber of Deputies for final approval by 26 May. Among the amendments made by the committee are the extension of the tax amnesty to local authority charges, from IMU to traffic fines, and a further extension of the debt settlement scheme. However, the ban on telemarketing for telecoms companies was not included, having been removed from the majority’s agenda, despite bipartisan amendments having been tabled.
