Rome, 16 May (LaPresse) – “We are here at the Policlinico di Roma to make it clear that the right to healthcare and treatment must be guaranteed to everyone, and to achieve this we need to invest, we need to recruit staff, and at the same time, here at the Policlinico, we can see that there are many workers who do not have the same rights and protections, and so we want to do away with the practice of subcontracting and bogus contracts, and we want to ensure that every person who works has the same rights and protections." So said CGIL Secretary Maurizio Landini at a press conference at the Policlinico Umberto I in Rome, on the second day of collecting signatures for the two draft laws on public healthcare and public procurement.
