Milan, 19 May (LaPresse) – The finance ministers of the G7 countries are calling for the Strait of Hormuz to be reopened ‘free of charge’. At a press conference following the G7 finance ministers’ summit, French Minister for the Economy and Finance Roland Lescure issued a new appeal on behalf of the participants for the Strait of Hormuz to be reopened and for an end to the conflict in Iran and the Middle East, according to Bfmtv. “The Strait of Hormuz must be reopened at no cost,” Lescure emphasised, “we know that the longer we wait, the more complicated it will be for our economies.”
