Milan, June 7 (LaPresse) – OPEC+ has confirmed an adjustment in oil production of 188,000 barrels per day. The organization announced this following a meeting attended today by seven member countries. The adjustment will be implemented starting in July, drawing on additional voluntary production cuts announced in April 2023, OPEC said in a statement. “The countries will continue to closely monitor and assess market conditions and, in their ongoing commitment to supporting market stability, have reiterated the importance of adopting a cautious approach and maintaining full flexibility to increase, suspend, or reverse the gradual phase-out of voluntary production adjustments, including the reversal of adjustments,” the statement added.
