Mourning in the world of cinema. Nadia Cassini, American actress, showgirl, singer and former model, who starred in Italian comedy films between the 1970s and 1980s, has died at the age of 76. Born in Woodstock on 2 January 1949, to an American father of German descent and an American mother of Italian descent, Gianna Lou Muller, under the pseudonym Nadia Cassini, had her first starring role in the comic-sexy strand ‘L'insegnante balla… with the whole class', which was followed by others in the same genre, such as “L'infermiera nella corsia dei militari” in 1979 and “La dottoressa ci sta colonnello” in 1980. He was also a TV personality, participating in Premiatissima in 1983 with Amanda Lear, Drive In in 1984 and Risatissima in 1985. Like other show business celebrities of the time, Cassini also recorded records and made appearances in Playboy, Playmen, Blitz and Guida Tv magazines.
