Milan, March 30 (LaPresse) – Anna received the 'Global Woman of the Year – Italy' award at the Billboard Women in Music Awards 2025, which concluded last night at the YouTube Theatre in Los Angeles. The Italian artist, named 'Woman of the Year' by Billboard Italy, took the stage to collect the award. “It’s an honor to be here to accept this award. When I started five years ago, I never expected to find myself here,” said Anna on stage, after being introduced by pop star Zara Larsson. "Let’s give a big round of applause to all the amazing women in this room, talented and beautiful women who inspired me this year. Thank you to Billboard for this incredible opportunity, thank you to my parents, my fantastic team, and especially my fans!" The ceremony also saw other international superstars triumph, including Doechii, who was awarded 'Woman of the Year' globally, Gracie Abrams (Best Songwriter of the Year), Glorilla (Powerhouse), Jennie of Blackpink (Global Force), Tyla (Impact Award), Meghan Trainor (Hitmaker), Erikah Badu (Icon), and Tina Knowles (Mother of the Year).
