Music, Alexia returns with dance track 'Follow': out on May 9

Turin, May 6 (LaPresse) – ‘Follow’ is the title of Alexia’s new song, out on May 9. A mix of engaging sounds and meaningful messages, it showcases the artist's ability to say something profound behind an apparent lightness. Alexia’s journey back to dance music began less than a year ago when she was the first artist to perform on the Tomorrowland stage last summer with the Nervo, followed by a return in November 2024 with the English-language track ‘I feel feelings’, written by Dragonette and produced by Paul Harris and Carl Ryden. ‘Follow’ was written with Alessandra Flora, Marco Guazzone, Gianni Pollex, Lara Ingrosso, and Leonardo Lamacchia, and produced by Carl Ryden.

“In the chaos of conformity that increasingly tends to lower standards, incapable of bringing comfort and peace but only fleeting and superficial satisfactions, there is an attempt to open the heart and open up to others, hoping to enhance one's uniqueness, which only comes to life and is fulfilled together,” says Alexia. “Fears, dreams, and insecurities are similar in the eyes of those who don’t know arrogance but do know closeness. Life is not a race; it’s more of a journey without a map. We’re still learning.”

To celebrate her return to dance music, Alexia announces ‘The Party – Back to the Dancefloor’, a special concert to be held on March 26, 2026, at Fabrique in Milan — a chance to relive the most iconic moments of her career.

Starting in May, Alexia will perform the first dates of her European festival tour, which will continue throughout the summer. From Spain to Finland and Croatia, the artist — who has sold 5 million records — will bring her hits to some of the most important live events.
