Basel (Switzerland), May 14 (LaPresse/AP) – Ten countries have qualified for the Eurovision final following the first semifinal held last night in Basel. Among them is Gabry Ponte, representing San Marino with Tutta l’Italia, and Estonia’s Tommy Cash with the energetic Espresso Macchiato. Other countries that made it to the final include Iceland, Norway, the Netherlands, Sweden, Ukraine, Portugal, Poland, and Albania. Eliminated from the competition were Azerbaijan, Belgium, Croatia, Cyprus, and Slovenia.
