Rome, 22 May (LaPresse) – With a tour that will take him all over Italy, Francesco De Gregori celebrates the 50th anniversary of the release of “Rimmel”, his fourth studio album, released in 1975 and which became a milestone. The masterpiece that marked entire generations with unforgettable songs such as “Pablo”, “Buonanotte Fiorellino” and “Rimmel” itself will be performed live in its entirety at every date, together with other songs by Francesco De Gregori that will change at each stop, making every concert unique. The audience will have the opportunity to experience the emotions of the album and the singer-songwriter's vast repertoire in different contexts, moving from unique locations to the magic of theatres, the power of arenas and the intimate atmosphere of clubs, creating a direct and spontaneous connection between musicians and spectators. Francesco De Gregori will be accompanied by his band composed of Guido Guglielminetti (bass and double bass), Carlo Gaudiello (piano), Primiano Di Biase (Hammond, keyboards and accordion), Paolo Giovenchi (guitars), Alessandro Valle (guitar, pedal steel and mandolin) and Simone Talone (drums and percussion). Backing singers: Francesca La Colla and Cristina Greco. These are the summer dates: 23 August at the Arena della Regina in Cattolica (Rimini), 26 August at the Dolmen Summer Fest in Bisceglie (Barletta-Andria-Trani), 28 August at the Teatro al Castello in Roccella Jonica (Reggio Calabria), 30 August in Piazza dei Cavalieri in Pisa, during Summer Knights, 4 September at the Cave Del Duca in Lecce, 6 September at the Sferisterio in Macerata, 10 September at the Teatro Antico in Taormina, 11 September at the Teatro Antico in Taormina, 15 September in Piazza Carlo di Borbone at the Reggia di Caserta, during Un'Estate da Belvedere, and 24 September at the Arena di Verona. The “Rimmel 2025” tour will resume on 31 October with a series of concerts in Italian theatres, scheduled between October and November, before continuing in the sports arenas of Milan and Rome in December. To conclude this musical journey, in January and February 2026, De Gregori will perform in clubs, bringing his music back to a more intimate and cosy atmosphere.
