Rome, 24 May (LaPresse) – Brazilian actor Wagner Moura won the Best Actor award at the 78th Cannes Film Festival for his role in “The Secret Agent” by Kleber Mendonca Filho. The award for Best Actress, presented by a jury chaired by Juliette Binoche, went to Nadia Melliti for the film “Le petit dernier” by Hasfia Herzi. Brothers Luc and Jean-Pierre Dardenne won the award for Best Screenplay with “Jeunes Meres”.
