Naples, 18 August (LaPresse) – Complaints against persons unknown have been filed by lawyers Angelo and Sergio Pisani, defence attorneys for TV presenter Stefano De Martino, with the State Police in Porto Cervo (Sassari) and the Public Prosecutor's Office in Rome in relation to a video circulating on the web showing him in his home in Rome with his current girlfriend. The videos were allegedly stolen from the video surveillance system installed inside the home and then disseminated on various social networks. Lawyers Angelo and Sergio Pisani are also appealing to “delete private photos and videos” aimed at “users unaware that they are committing such serious crimes by handling other people's personal data and developing an illegal and dangerous market”. With the complaint filed in Rome, De Martino is requesting ‘investigations aimed at preventing the dissemination of the video’, alleging the crime of ‘illegal dissemination of sexually explicit images or videos’. The legal action, according to the two lawyers, ‘will extend to all those who contributed to spreading the video by sharing it and to those who posted offensive comments against the artist's relatives. The compensation will be donated to charity for children and initiatives against cyberbullying.’
