Rome, 25 August (LaPresse) – Gal Gadot will not be attending the Venice Film Festival. The Israeli actress, who stars alongside Gerard Butler in Julian Schnabel's out-of-competition film “The Hand of Dante”, will not be accompanying the cast and director to the Lido. According to LaPresse, the actress had been invited but her participation was not planned. Her absence from the Lido is therefore not linked to pressure from the Venice4Palestine collective, which signed an open letter on 22 August asking the Biennale to take a stand on the conflict in the Middle East. There is still no confirmation regarding the attendance of her co-star Gerard Butler.
