Turin, 3 September (LaPresse) – ‘After two days of fruitful and intense work, an agreement has been reached between the Municipality of Sanremo and Rai as part of the negotiation phase relating to the expression of interest aimed at identifying a partner for the organisation and broadcast of the Italian Song Festival’. This was announced by Rai in a statement. The delegation of Rai executives, composed of Francesco Spadafora, Director of Legal and Corporate Affairs, Williams Di Liberatore, Director of Prime Time Entertainment, Davide Di Gregorio, Director of the CEO's Staff, Paola Marchesini, Director of Strategic Initiatives Coordination and interim head of the Corporate General Manager's Staff, Alberto Longatti, Director of Television and Artistic Resources, was received in Sanremo at Palazzo Bellevue by Mayor Alessandro Mager and Councillors Alessandro Sindoni and Enza Dedali. Also present were the mayor's chief of staff, Giulio Camillino, and the members of the technical evaluation committee, namely Dr Rita Cuffini (tourism manager, committee chair), Monica di Marco (secretary general, committee member), Cinzia Barillà (financial services manager, committee member) and legal advisor Harald Bonura. ‘The administrative procedure will continue in the coming days with the respective institutional steps, including the passage through the Rai Board of Directors, necessary to complete the process,’ concludes Viale Mazzini.
