Venice, 4 September (LaPresse) – "If there are important things worth fighting for, we must do so without thinking too much about it. What is happening in Gaza, the violence that Palestinians continue to suffer, is drawing a line within us. There is no longer a difference between who I am and what I do." Actress Anna Foglietta told LaPresse on the sidelines of the “Women in Cinema Award”, a side event at the Venice Film Festival, about her support for the Palestinian cause. ‘Yesterday at the Festival there was a very beautiful sign, as all the people who displayed the Palestinian flag in the hall did, and it would be nice to do so every day. Because militancy, activism and even dissent about what the Palestinian people are suffering must become a daily action,’ she added. ‘It must become an action because we are part of the problem and we cannot help but feel involved in its resolution.’
