Rome, 10 September (LaPresse) – "Adriano Celentano is a piece of Italian popular culture history; he is a story of our nation, even in the world. For us, it would be a dream to see him back on Rai. That is why we are taking up Ms Claudia Mori's request, with the idea of working with him to create a grand tribute, a special evening on Rai 1. We are not satisfied with just the archive repertoire, as proposed by Ms Mori, but we want a comeback worthy of his legend, so that it becomes a moment of celebration for the entire Italian public. And if Adriano wants to, we will welcome him with open arms at the next Sanremo Festival'. This was Rai CEO Giampaolo Rossi's response to Claudia Mori's letter urging the company to make a decision on a possible return of “Il Molleggiato” to a programme on public television.
