Rome, 7 January. (LaPresse) – Buen Camino is the highest-grossing film of the festive season. In just 13 days of screening, the new film starring Checco Zalone, directed by Gennaro Nunziante and distributed by Medusa Film, has confirmed its status as one of the biggest Italian box office hits of all time, surpassed only by another film by the Zalone-Nunziante duo, Quo vado? Buen Camino has grossed a total of nearly €59,000,000 (€58,896,398), with 7,297,399 admissions and a market share of 65.8% from 25 December to date: more than six out of ten cinema-goers chose to see Buen Camino. The film not only dominated box office takings in all regions of Italy, from north to south, but also had a unique impact on the national film market, with a boom in admissions, sold-out bookings and record performances.
