And I'm happy that there is such a high share in the 18-35 age group, because today it's difficult to get younger people to watch TV.” So said Carlo Conti, artistic director of the Sanremo Festival, at a press conference. “We have pushed even harder,” he explained, “on many new features regarding the singers in the competition and we have balanced this with big international guests such as Laura, Eros, Alicia Keys, Tiziano Ferro, and Andrea Bocelli. This balance takes into account the fact that the Festival is watched by everyone.”
