Cinema, Regeni case: Mereghetti and Galimberti resign from MiC commission

Rome, Apr 7 (LaPresse) – On the eve of the question time at which Culture Minister Alessandro Giuli is expected to respond regarding the lack of funding for the documentary on Giulio Regeni, two prominent experts from the ministry’s commission responsible for evaluating works eligible for tax credit have resigned. According to LaPresse, they are Massimo Galimberti, editorial consultant and story editor for film and television projects, and film critic Paolo Mereghetti. Both wrote a letter this morning to the head of the Cinema and Audiovisual Directorate, Carlo Giorgio Brugnoni, informing him of their decision.
