Milan, Apr. 8 (LaPresse) – A woman who admitted to selling Matthew Perry the ketamine that killed him is about to be sentenced. Jasveen Sangha will be the third defendant to be sentenced among the five people who pleaded guilty in connection with the 2023 overdose that claimed the Friends star. Prosecutors argue that she should receive a 15-year prison sentence when the ruling is handed down Wednesday at the federal court in Los Angeles. Defense attorneys contend that the time she has already spent in custody since her 2024 indictment should be sufficient. Perry died at the age of 54 from a ketamine overdose. He had been taking it legally but wanted a higher dose than prescribed by his doctor and turned to the woman.
