Healthcare, Lazio Regional Administrative Court Revokes Suspension of National Tariff for Guaranteed Care

Naples, December 31 (LaPresse) – The Lazio Regional Administrative Court (TAR) has revoked the suspension of the national tariff for guaranteed healthcare services. The suspension had been ordered yesterday through a monocratic precautionary decree issued as part of an appeal filed by hundreds of accredited facilities associated with major industry organizations.

The third division of the Lazio TAR accepted the petition filed today by the State Attorney’s Office, which highlighted "the extreme difficulty of activating the June 2023 tariff system, along with the related regional nomenclatures and catalogs. This requires necessary planning and evaluation of organizational, technological, and economic impacts, involving all application providers," potentially leading to "a blockage of the prescription, booking, and service delivery system, resulting in disruption for users, delays in service provision, and ultimately an impact on patients' health."

The judge, "having acknowledged the declared severity of the consequences of suspending the decree" and considering that "no grounds for even an informal hearing of the parties are evident," accepted the petition for revocation while confirming the hearing date of January 28, 2025, in chambers.
