Milan, Jan. 27 (LaPresse) – "I regret that the Rabbi of Rome has shown such a lack of understanding of Anpi’s history. Anpi has always maintained the same position, which is that of two peoples in two states, since the times of Craxi and Andreotti. It’s clear that things change, but not because of Anpi. I am referring to Hamas’s horrific massacre on October 7 and the immeasurable massacres subsequently carried out by Netanyahu in Gaza, with a government including figures from a far-right not seen for a long time, such as Smotrich and Ben Gvir—some of these individuals even call themselves 'fascists.' What the Rabbi says does not reflect reality."

These were the words of Gianfranco Pagliarulo, President of Anpi, to LaPresse in response to the statement by Rome’s Chief Rabbi, Riccardo Di Segni.
