Milan, Feb 5 (LaPresse) – A large-scale operation has been underway since the early hours of the morning, conducted by the Provincial Command of the Carabinieri in Rimini across the territories of Rimini, Bologna, Campobasso, Cagliari, Forlì-Cesena, Imperia, Milan, Monza, Parma, Piacenza, Pesaro, and Ravenna. Supported by local law enforcement units, over 200 officers are executing precautionary measures issued at the request of the Rimini Prosecutor's Office against 39 suspects.
The military identified two separate groups involved in trafficking large quantities of drugs and committing home burglaries. The perpetrators of a robbery that took place in the Riviera were also identified. Authorities have seized approximately 250 kilograms of cocaine and dozens of kilograms of hashish.
