Milan, 20 February (LaPresse) – ‘I have never made any statements but no one can forbid me from believing entirely in my son's innocence’. Thus the president of the Senate, Ignazio La Russa, intercepted by reporters in court in Milan, where he appeared this morning assisted by lawyer Alessandro Contessini-Avesani to oppose the request for archiving by the Milan Public Prosecutor's Office against the Report programme, sued by La Russa for two episodes in the autumn of 2023 on the origins of the family's assets. ‘However, I trust the judiciary,’ La Russa said in relation to the investigation into an alleged sexual assault committed by his son Leonardo Apache on a 22-year-old girl between 18-19 May 2023.
