Rome, March 1 (LaPresse) – No further crises occurred overnight for Pope Francis. The Holy Father woke up, had coffee, and read the newspapers, occasionally wearing a mask, according to Vatican sources.
Pope Francis is able to eat solid food, but his condition remains complex, and his prognosis is still reserved.
This morning, from the Gemelli Hospital, where he has been hospitalized since February 14, the pontiff appointed Reverend John Carvalho, from the clergy of the same diocese, as the new Bishop of Ajmer. Until now, Carvalho has served as the Principal of St. Paul’s Sr. Sec. School in Ajmer.
