This is stated in the update on the condition of Pope Francis released by the Holy See press office. Pope Francis ‘switched to high-flow oxygen therapy this morning and underwent respiratory physiotherapy. Tonight, as planned, non-invasive mechanical ventilation will be resumed until tomorrow morning’.
