Palermo, 6 March (LaPresse) – Giovanni Barreca's eldest daughter, the defendant in the Altavilla Milicia massacre in which her mother Antonella Salamone and her brothers Kevin and Emanuel, aged 15 and 5 respectively, were tortured and killed, was sentenced to 12 years and 8 months. The gup of the Juvenile Court, Nicola Aiello, sentenced the girl, 17 years old at the time of the events, after two hours of council chamber. The sentence is reduced by one third for the alternative rite. Juvenile prosecutor Claudia Caramanna had asked for 18 years.
