Milan, March 13 (LaPresse) – "I have just signed the decree to order the extraordinary mobilization of the National Civil Protection Service for the Campi Flegrei area," announced the Minister for Civil Protection, Nello Musumeci. He emphasized that the measure was necessary to support the Campania Region in addressing the crisis caused by the seismic swarm, which included numerous very shallow tremors, one of which had a magnitude of 4.4, posing a serious threat to public safety and private property. The request from the regional president was granted after a swift review by the National Civil Protection Department.
"To better manage the difficult situation," the minister continued, "the Department itself will coordinate the intervention of the National Civil Protection Service and organized volunteer groups from other regions to support the Campania regional structures. The goal is to assist and provide relief to affected populations if needed."
