Rome, March 13 (LaPresse) – The charge of threatening a political body, initially pressed against entrepreneur Maria Rosaria Boccia following a complaint by Gennaro Sangiuliano, has been requalified as stalking, according to LaPresse sources. The charge of bodily harm remains, and new charges of unlawful interference in private life and false statements regarding event organization have been added.
Boccia has not denied her relationship with former Minister Gennaro Sangiuliano but has denied all allegations. Regarding the head injury 'reported' by former Minister Sangiuliano, she explained that it was due to a fall and not from physical assault, as revealed after Boccia’s interrogation before prosecutors Giuseppe Cascini, Giulia Guccione, and Barbara Trotta.
