Pope, Holy See: "Confirmed Improvements, Non-Invasive Mechanical Ventilation Suspended"

Vatican City (Vatican), March 19 (LaPresse) – "The Holy Father's clinical condition continues to improve. He has suspended non-invasive mechanical ventilation and has also reduced the need for high-flow oxygen therapy. Motor and respiratory physiotherapy progress continues. This morning, on the Solemnity of Saint Joseph, the Holy Father concelebrated Holy Mass." This is confirmed by the medical bulletin released by the Holy See Press Office regarding Pope Francis' health. "The two infections the Holy Father suffered in recent days are under control, and clinical test values are within normal range. The Pope remains fever-free, and his blood test results are stable," the Vatican further states, adding that the next medical bulletin will not be released before next week.
