A ‘matter – writes Schillaci – that today represents the most important battle to guarantee the right to healthcare for our citizens. ‘The documented irregularities – from artificially inflated waiting lists to arbitrarily closed agendas to reservations managed with paper lists instead of centralised digital platforms – are unacceptable practices that undermine the credibility and effectiveness of our National Health Service,’ the minister says. ‘The national monitoring platform is showing many virtuous cases but at the same time too many unworthy situations’, he adds.
