Milan, 29 Mar. (LaPresse) – Today, at around 12.30pm, a group of people adhering to Ultima Generazione's ‘Il Giusto Prezzo’ campaign threw rotten vegetables into the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, displaying banners with the words ‘Il Giusto Prezzo’ and ‘Ultima Generazione’ and explaining the meaning of their gesture to passers-by. The aim, the activists explained, was to make visible what is often hidden: the growing poverty in Italy, aggravated by climate inflation. During the statements, applause broke out from some people present at the scene. Shortly afterwards, the police arrived and charged the participants in the action, including a boy who was distributing leaflets.
