Rome, March 30 (LaPresse) – A 17-year-old boy was arrested last night by the police and carabinieri on suspicion of being the perpetrator of the stabbing of a 16-year-old, who was stabbed in the abdomen while with his group in Via Annibal Caro, just steps away from the central Piazza Marconi in the town of Frascati. The 17-year-old, a local resident, was tracked down thanks to testimonies from witnesses who had seen the altercation and then the attempted murder. The assailant's escape, as well as the stabbing, were captured by security cameras. The investigation is being coordinated by the Prosecutor's Office at the Juvenile Court of Rome. The victim's condition remains serious, and after being taken to the emergency room at San Sebastiano Martire Hospital, he was transferred to the Tor Vergata Polyclinic.
