Milan, April 9 (LaPresse) – Over 2,000 kg of pure cocaine, divided into 1,800 blocks, were discovered and seized by the Financial Police and Customs Agencies in a container arriving from South America at the port of Livorno. The blocks of 'white powder' were hidden inside a dry container carrying cocoa powder, and it was loaded onto the Mersin Express cargo ship from the port of Guayaquil in Ecuador. The drugs would have been worth over 500 million euros on the street.
